Dr. Abhimanyu Kumar is working as Assistant Professor in Department of Computer Science and Engineering at National Institute of Technology (NIT), Uttarakhand since June, 2016. He has shouldered several administrative responsibilities at NIT Uttarakahnd.
Dr. Abhimanyu has obtained his B. Tech. from R.P. Sharma Institute of Technology Patna (Affiliated to M.U. Bodh Gaya), Patna in 2011 and Ph. D. degree from Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad Jharkhnad India in the year 2016. He has qualified GATE three times in Computer Science and Information Technology with 98.90 percentile in 2012, 2013 and 2015. He is working in the research area of Cryptography, Network Security, Secure Multicasting, Smart Grid Applications, and Broadcast Encryption for more than 8 years and has published 26 research papers out of which 10 are peer reviewed journal publications (SCI/SCI-E indexed journals), 16 in International Conferences and one as book chapter.
