Dr. Maroti Deshmukh is currently working as an Assistant Professor (G-I) and HoD in department of Computer Science and Engineering at National Institute of Technology Uttarakhand. He has earned his doctoral degree from NIT Jaipur and Master degree from University of Hyderabad. He was awarded B.Tech. degree from SGGSIE&T Nanded. He is involved in teaching, research and administrative work at various capacities. He has 10+ years of experience in teaching and research. His main research interests are mainly Cryptographic Security and Machine Learning. His publications are in the journals of repute like International Journal of Information Security and Applications, Supercomputing, Visual Communication and Image Representation, Multimedia Tools and Applications, Knowledge and Information Systems, IEEE Consumer Electronics Magazine, etc. He is interested in Deep learning, Object Detection, Multimedia Data Security, etc. He has more than 60 potential publications. He has supervised/supervising 5 PhD students, 8 PG students and 25 UG project students. He has been technical reviewer for a number of journals. He has delivered invited expert lectures and chaired conference sessions. He has taught many courses: Cryptography, Advanced Cryptography, Database Management Systems, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Machine Learning, Neural Network etc.
