DR. NIRAJ KUMAR MISHRA

Dr. Niraj Kumar Mishra completed his Ph.D. from IIT Guwahati in 2015 and joined the National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand, as an Assistant Professor in June 2016. His research area is thermal and fluid sciences, with specific interests in heat transfer enhancement through nanofluids, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), energy, and biomass. He has supervised four Ph.D. and five M.Tech. scholars, and currently, three Ph.D. scholars are pursuing research under his guidance. Dr. Mishra has published more than 60 research articles in international journals, conferences, and book chapters. He has also filed six Indian patents, one of which has been granted. At present, he is managing two sponsored projects with a total funding of ₹47 lakhs. Since joining NIT Uttarakhand, he has also contributed significantly through various administrative responsibilities.
