Tushar Goel received his B.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering in 2010, M.Tech. degree in Microwave Engineering from IIT BHU Varanasi in 2014 and a Ph.D. degree in RF & Microwave Engineering from IIT-Roorkee in 2018 under the supervision of Prof. Amalendu Patnaik, ECE Dept., IIT Roorkee. After completing his M.Tech., he joined the Department of Electronics Engineering, National Institute of Technology Uttarakhand as an Assistant Professor in July. 2014, currently serving here. During his services in the institute, he has handled various key responsibilities of the institute, including being Institute Exam Coordinator and Coordinator Cultural activities, Coordinator Student Counselling, sound and Film & photography etc. Currently, he is supervising 04 Ph.D. scholars and has supervised 03 M.Tech students. He is a fellow IETE, Senior member of IEEE USA, a Life Member of ISTE & IETE and various other societies such as Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT), Antennas wave and Propagation society, etc. He is also involved in reviewing activities of many international journals belonging to various publication houses such IEEE, IET, Elsevier, Taylor and Francis etc. His current research interests include Planar Antennas for future mobile communications and satellite communications, Microwave energy Harvesting, and Disaster assessment using Remote Sensing & Image processing.
