Assistant Professor

I am currently working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand. I obtained his Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) from University of Rajasthan, and M. Tech. (Energy Engineering) & Ph.D. from Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur. My major interest of research areas are Alternate Fuels in IC Engines, Renewable Energy Technologies, Thermal Storage techniques and their applications. I have more than 10 years of teaching and research experience at different organizations. I have published more than 40 research papers in reputed Journals, International/National Conferences. I am the author of 05 text and reference books. I am also the Reviewer of more than 08 SCI Elsevier Journals. I am also the investigator of research projects from different funding agencies. I have completed and also carried many administrative responsibilities at NIT Uttarakhand like HoD, I/c Dean, Associate Dean, Coordinator (TEQIP-III), etc. I am the Technical Editor of Journal of Automotive Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering Research and Consulting Editor of Hon. Editorial Board Member recognized by Innovative Scientific Research Professional Malaysia. I am the Senior Fellow Life Member of Indian Society of Mechanical Engineers. I have professional memberships of Institution of Engineers, Indian Society of Technical Education, American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Indian Society of Mechanical Engineers and Society of Automotive Engineers. Under my guidance, SAE club students have manufactured Hero E-bike and vehicle for Shell ECO Marathon and also participated at different National Level competitive events and recognized there. I filled three different patents and waiting to award. I have conducted more than 20 International/National Conference, Short Term course, training program and workshops.
